Fortune´s Shepherd

Murman Lomia is the head of a traditional Abkasian family. Every summer, he packs his supplies and leads his goats and cows up a difficult trail to find fresh and juicy fields. Together they spend the warm sunny days in the wilderness of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
The drive is the highlight of the year for the family and the village. Up in these isolated mountains, Murman finds his happiest moments. No foreigners have visited this remote border region between Russia and Georgia for over twenty years. The documentary film crew seized an opportunity and discovered images of a culture on the outskirts of Europe and verified ancient biblical parallels in the values held by a shepherd.
